First of all, this new song by Amanda Blank is hilarious and fun! NSFW (pretty raunchy...), but upbeat and original with just the right amount of campy-ness. Enjoy!
Now, as I was on my way to lunch this afternoon in midtown where I work, I noticed a couple of tourists staring at a large map looking very confused. I was about to go over and see if I could help navigate them somwhere when I realized that these people are idiots. Why on Earth do you need a map in midtown? Is there something confusing about 45, 46, 47?? If you are below Houston, it's perfectly understandable, but here...I just don't get it. Is it the avenues? It's also the 21st century. When in Rome...do as all pretentious New Yorkers do and use google maps or GPS on your smart phones. Get with the times people!
In other news, today is Cinco de Mayo! Me gusta! Just like every major holiday, I have big plans tonight. I will be accompanying several of my friends to the grand opening of the Hudson Terrace. The "Real" Housewives of New York are expected to be in attendance so if they show up, I'm sure some excellent tweets will come out of it. I hear they are an extremely classy bunch and I wouldn't expect any less from reality TV superstars. All I know is...there had better be drunk cougars dancing on tables by the end of the night.
